2023 Fall Colours: Almost Missed This Year!

Had I been thinking I would have gotten out a week earlier to shoot the fall colours. While there was still lots of vibrant colours some trees were almost fully bare, especially the birch trees. Still, it was an amazing overnight road trip with my 92 year old father - the man who started my interest in photography many decades ago. Dad had a great time and now exclusively shoots with his iPhone.

We went north to Chase, then down back roads to Kamloops, up to the hills behind Merritt then down to Princeton and the "old" Princeton to Summerland back road.
