Street photography - Hanoi style

I splurged for a morning with a local (OK, he's Russian but has been in Hanoi 8 years!) professional street photographer to take me on a guided tour of part of Hanoi and give me some lessons both on creative vision and use of my camera settings. Money well spent.
The streets full of vendors - goods, fresh food etc. and there is always something interesting to see through the eyes of a Westerner.

There so many opportunities to get a glimpse inside of people's daily lives. So unlike home where everything is hidden away in private.

While there are a few mechanical street cleaners, much of daily work is done by hand. In Hanoi, it's a never ending task.
